The WDC President and Board of Directors would like to express their deepest sadness and sincere condolences, as they have received the devastating news, that the former BDC President and Honorary WDC member, Bryan Allen, has passed away during the night.
He served the British Dance Council as an officer and delegate to all WDC members for many years with utmost diligence, loyalty and belief in what was right, especially in turbulent times.
Bryan was many many positive things, but most importantly, fiercely loyal.
The highlight of his career was his term of BDC Presidency from 2009 to 2020, where he truly showed his dedication, determination and proud spirit.
I am sure that all dancers throughout the world will join in sharing their thoughts and prayers with his wife Ann and their family and friends at this sad time.
Rest in peace, Bryan. You will be greatly missed.
