The World Dance Council (WDC) and the WDC Amateur League (WDCAL) are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with the Dwight Global Online School (Dwight Global), a world leading provider of online education. This collaboration will provide all WDC members with exclusive access to a special grant towards Dwight Global’s tuition for a full academic curriculum, designed to provide a vigorous education for students who desire flexibility and freedom to pursue their passion for dance.
As part of this partnership, all WDC/WDCAL members who enroll in Dwight Global will enjoy a 50% tuition discount, which amounts to a minimum savings of $22,200.00 per student. Additional financial aid may be available upon application and review by Dwight Global’s financial aid committee. All students must go through an application process and gain acceptance by Dwight Global. For extraordinary high achievers in dance even further scholarships may be available through WDC Higher Education Committee letters of recommendation. This unique opportunity allows WDC/WDCAL members to expand their knowledge, develop new skills, and advance their careers through high-quality, flexible online learning.
The WDC/WDCAL and Dwight Global each aim to provide their dancers and students with the best opportunities to succeed and reach their goals. The WDC is the world authority for professional dancing. Through its newly formed Higher Education Committee, the WDC aims to inspire, stimulate and promote excellence in education for the WDC and the WDC Amateur League community.
Dwight Global Online School is the top online school in the United States and the World for grades 6-12 (age 11-18), offering qualified amateur dancers a world-class private school education on a flexible and personalized schedule. This partnership marks the beginning of a strong collaboration between the WDC/WDCAL and Dwight Global, with the potential for further initiatives to benefit the global dance community. The collaboration with Dwight Global does not affect the NDCA and WDCAL pre-existing agreement relating to all amateur dancers within the United States.
